What we bring to a partnership

  • Twenty years of delivery. 19 completed EU-funded projects since 2008, as lead beneficiary in most of them, plus six currently under implementation.
  • Direct reach into a hard-to-reach region. South-West Oltenia is one of the least developed regions in the European Union. We work in its rural communities, not only in the county capital.
  • An established EUROPE DIRECT centre. Five consecutive funding cycles, an office open to the public five days a week, and a standing relationship with schools, local authorities, universities and regional media.
  • Cross-border experience. Four completed Interreg Romania–Bulgaria projects, and eligibility for the programme area.
  • Transnational delivery. Work placements and mobilities organised with partners in Portugal and Italy.

Fields we work in

Education and school-to-work transition, adult vocational training, employment and entrepreneurship, public health screening programmes, social inclusion of Roma communities, cross-border tourism and cultural heritage, environmental awareness, and EU civic education.

Programmes we have delivered under

European Social Fund and ESF+, Interreg V-A Romania–Bulgaria, the EEA and Norway Grants NGO Fund, the Environment Operational Programme, and the EUROPE DIRECT network of the European Commission.

  • Partners for Erasmus+, CERV and Interreg Romania–Bulgaria applications.
  • Organisations that need a Romanian partner with proven financial management and reporting capacity.
  • Peer EUROPE DIRECT centres interested in joint activities or exchanges.
